What it looks like
- Someone asks you to install a screen-sharing app such as AnyDesk or TeamViewer to help you.
- They ask you to read out a code shown in the app.
- Once connected, they can see your screen, including your bank app and messages.
What to do
- Do not install the app and do not read out the code.
- If it is already open, close it and turn off the internet on the phone.
- Uninstall the app, and call your bank from the number on your card.
If you already did it
If money has moved, call 1930 at once and tell your bank. Do not delete the messages, numbers or screenshots, they are evidence. Then report at cybercrime.gov.in.
Remember: A bank or a government office never asks you to share your phone screen.
For children
Never let a stranger see or control your phone screen. Close the app. Tell a grown-up.

यह कैसा दिखता है
- कोई मदद के नाम पर AnyDesk या TeamViewer जैसा स्क्रीन-शेयरिंग ऐप इंस्टॉल करने को कहता है।
- वे ऐप में दिख रहा कोड पढ़कर सुनाने को कहते हैं।
- जुड़ने के बाद वे आपकी स्क्रीन देख सकते हैं, बैंक ऐप और मैसेज भी।
क्या करें
- ऐप इंस्टॉल न करें और कोड न बताएँ।
- अगर खुल चुका है, तो उसे बंद करें और फ़ोन का इंटरनेट बंद कर दें।
- ऐप हटा दें और कार्ड पर लिखे नंबर से बैंक को कॉल करें।
अगर आप ऐसा कर चुके हैं
अगर पैसे कट गए हैं, तो तुरंत 1930 पर कॉल करें और अपने बैंक को बताएँ। मैसेज, नंबर और स्क्रीनशॉट डिलीट न करें, ये सबूत हैं। फिर cybercrime.gov.in पर शिकायत करें।
याद रखें: बैंक या सरकारी दफ़्तर आपसे फ़ोन की स्क्रीन शेयर करने को नहीं कहता।
बच्चों के लिए
किसी अनजान को अपने फ़ोन की स्क्रीन देखने या चलाने मत दो। ऐप बंद कर दो। किसी बड़े को बताओ।
